The church is normally open every day during daylight hours.
St George's welcomes many whether they are drawn to the architectural beauty of the church, the grand stone vaulting, and the beautiful windows by Kempe and Evetts, or simply to experience the deep pool of silence in a very busy and noisy world. Worship is at the centre of the life of the church.
St. George’s has a reputation for music. The organ is known and admired internationally and the choir aims to produce high quality music in a marvellous acoustic.
