Royal Quays Marina is ideally located in North Tyneside near the entrance to the River Tyne, providing quick and convenient access to the open sea while serving as a well-equipped base for visiting and resident vessels. The marina is ideally placed for access to the open sea and for cruising in the sheltered waters of the River Tyne.

Built around the historic Albert Edward Dock, Royal Quays Marina is now regarded as the premier boating facility in the North of England.  With a prestigious Yacht Harbour Association Five Gold Anchor accreditation, it is known for high standards of service and caters to both leisure and commercial vessels.

The marina features 400 fully serviced pontoon berths and operates 24/7 via double-sector lock gates, ensuring access at all states of tide. A boatyard with a 40T hoist is available for maintenance and storage ashore.

Located just a short way from the historic attractions and culinary delights of North Shields and Tynemouth and with easy access to Newcastle and South Shields, this is a great base to explore the North East by land and sea.
