The Old Lowlight interprets the fascinating history of North Shields Fish Quay, from its beginnings through to the present day in the surroundings of the recently refurbished Old Lowlights building. The heritage of the Fish Quay is explained on the second floor with exhibitions and interpretation telling it's unique and interesting story. There is also a popular cafe with outdoor seating. There are events, talks, classes, workshops and much more.
