After being closed for a number of years for refurbishment, the historic Grade II-listed Tunnels are once again open.
Visitors can cycle or walk from one side of the River Tyne to the other and experience the unique structure which has been a key link for the people of Tyneside since 1951.
Check opening times before you travel - but the Tunnels are generally open 7 days a week between 6am and 8pm.
There's a night service for shift workers too.
The Tunnels form part of the National Cycle Network (Routes 72 and 14).
