Whitley Bay Film Festival returns with the usual mix of must-see experiences in great places.
A major highlight this year is a screening of Still Crazy at the Exchange in North Shields in the presence of festival patron Ian La Frenais and very special guest Bill Nighy.

Wednesday 21 September - Finding Nemo (2003) at St Mary's Lighthouse.
Wednesday 21 September - Scream and Scream Again (1970) introduced by Mark Iveson (author - Vincent Price - The British Connection) at St Mary's Lighthouse.
Thursday 22 September - It Came from Beneath The Sea (1955) at St Mary's Lighthouse.
Thursday 22 September - THEM! (1954) at St Mary's Lighthouse.
Saturday 24 September - Their Finest (2016) at the Rendezvous Cafe.
Sunday 25 September - Film Themed Buskers at The Ticket Office, Whitley Bay Metro Station.
Wednesday 28 September - Still Crazy (1998) with very special guest Bill Nighy. Introduced by festival patron, screenwriter Ian La Frenais at The Exchange, Howard Street, North Shields.
Thursday 6 October - Dangerous Liaisons (1988) at Seaton Delaval Hall
