Head to North Tyneside's coast for big weekends of watersports, pop-up food and drink events and very special one-off live music shows.

The North Sea Weekender series will feature the Tynemouth Surf Open, organised by Tynemouth Surf Co, alongside stand-up paddle board activities from Northern SUP Racing and Northerly Swell.

There'll be very special one-off music concerts at a range of venues including Liam Fender at the Salt Market in North Shields and Lee-Ann Curren and Michael Curran's Deaf Ficton at the Watch House Museum in Tynemouth. Check availability at See Tickets if you'd like to go.

Liam has added a second night at Salt Market on 16 September. Michael Curran performs at the Watch House on 22 September with Lee-Ann Curren on the 23 September.

First up is the Big Dippa event on 26-27 August at Whitley Bay with paddle boarding in the sea and music, food and drink on the Plaza.

Join the Dip Club for a special bank holiday North Sea Weekender dip on 28 August.
