More than 40 restaurants have signed up for a week-long celebration of North Tyneside’s food scene from Monday 2 October to Sunday 8 October.

Venus will offer specially priced set menus to entice locals and visitors through their doors.

As well as giving a boost to local businesses, the festival aims is to give people the opportunity to try new restaurants or cuisines, with menus priced between £15 and £25.
