Organised by North Tyneside Council, North East Museums, Wallsend Local History Society and Friends of Segedunum, the event celebrates Wallsend's significant local history.

You can view local history displays at Wallsend Library and North Tyneside Art Studio in The Forum, enjoy a guided walking tour of Wallsend's historic sites or learn about the history of the images on the newly installed historic shop shutters around the town.

There are free talks, films and tours at Segedunum and the Segedunum team will be gathering people’s memories at Wallsend Library.

The celebrations include the annual Wallsend Festival in the town centre and Segedunum on Saturday 5 July and The Green on Sunday 6 July.
